The game
The week
Two fixed ops a week. Same days, same time. Scheduled beats spontaneous when a group is small.
| When | What | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Works shift A mass dig. The bar moves during the session. | 60 to 90 minutes | |
| Site op The headline, rotating through six kinds. | 90 minutes | |
| Sunday | Promotion board Public, with the numbers attached. | 10 minutes |
| Monthly | Inspection Command walks the site and everything built is photographed for the archive. | 45 minutes |
In the server, /schedule shows the coming week and month in your own time zone, and the Op Call role pings you an hour before each op.
What the Saturday slot rotates through
| Op | What happens |
|---|---|
| Full shift | Everyone at once, the ordinary thing done properly. |
| CI raid | A landing at the pier or the Cut. Material is stolen and the bar drops. |
| Riot | Starts in the camp. Security holds, the Vanguard resolves. |
| Selection | Vanguard selection, run in public. |
| Inspection | A quiet one. Photographs, documents, a walk round what got built. |
| The find | A face opens onto something. Rare. |
What each department is doing
| Department | Tonight | This month | For good |
|---|---|---|---|
| The camp | Work a face, haul to the skip, buy something, bank the rest | Trusty, then Ganger, then a release board | Every stud of the site came out of a detainee's face |
| Engineering | Place a module and photograph it | Foreman | The site is the build log, and your name is on parts of it |
| Logistics | Truck runs, the skip, a commissary restock | Quartermaster | Nothing was ever built that Logistics didn't move |
| Security | Gate, escort, count, sweep | Sergeant | The camp holds, night after night, because of a roster |
| Vanguard | Kit, patrol, wait | Selection, then Section Leader | The nights the community retells are yours |
| Administrative | Intake, muster, reports, the ledger | Records Supervisor | The archive: in fifty ops, it is the only memory the site has |
The number
Every morning the site posts its status: the works bar, how far it moved in a day, and each department's numbers for the week. It is posted whether it moved or not.
